CORU Announce Appointment of Sheila McClelland as CEO   Sheila McClelland has been announced as the new CEO of the Health and Social Care Professional’s Council, CORU. Ms McClelland who is currently the CEO of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) will take up her appointment on 8 April 2024. PETMA© is an Irish, human right based approach to supporting service users who may get verbally or physically distressed at times. PETMA© focuses on preventing service users from getting distressed, using intense modules to facilitate an understanding of the realities of having disabilities and how this impacts their ability to understand and comprehend information.
